About

I am a 28-year-old Sport Psychology professional from Finland. My curiosity about the mental side of sports started over a decade ago, in my teens, when I started to wonder about my own mental performance and reflect on it. My self-studies led me to university to continue this path. Nowadays, I hold a Master's Degree in Sports and Exercise Psychology (Psychology of Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing. University of Jyväskylä, Faculty of Sport Sciences) and work as a full-time Sport Psychology entrepreneur.

 

I have a wide experience working with athletes from all over the world, from elite professionals to future stars, to enhance their mental performance and maximise their potential. Most commonly, I work with professional footballers and basketball players, but I am also experienced working with athletes from tennis, ice hockey, rugby, boxing and e-sports. As I come from an academic background, evidence-based practices are hugely important in the processes, and through that, effective work that the athletes are happy with. You can read client testimonials and more about my work in the following sections. Including the 1-on-1 work with athletes, I have consulted teams and worked in organisational coaching.

The topics we work on always vary depending on the athlete, but the most common topics are related to consistent performance, confidence, flow-states, emotional regulation before and during a performance, handling pressure, improving focus, process thinking, psychological flexibility and behaviour change.

Pricing

Personalised pricing. As salaries and bonuses vary and change rapidly in the world of sports, we personalise the costs of the processes. Pricing is based on the contract and the situation of the player. Costs can be agreed on either price per meeting or a price per season plan. Pricing will be discussed in the introductory meeting. The introductory meeting is free.

With clubs and organisations, compensation is negotiated based on the contents and hours of each project.

I feel strongly about making sport psychology accessible while respecting and standing for the ethical guidelines for the pricing of quality work.
